Within the scope of an agreement with the Bureau de normalisation du Québec [Quebec Standards Bureau], the Sustainable Event Project team has initiated a certification project to foster sustainable event management. Several partners have joined this initiative, namely financial partners, and pilot events were held.

The first phase in the development of this certification – writing a preliminary version of the Standard and naming the Standardization Committee – was completed in autumn 2007. We are currently looking for additional financial partners for the second phase. If you are interested, contact usWe are in the second phase of the project. The Standardization Committee has be implemented in May 2008.
